Live Telecast of Inauguration of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) at ICAR Mizoram Centre, Kolasib, Mizoram .
ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Mizoram Centre, Kolasib hosted the Live webcast/telecast of inauguration of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) by Hon'ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi Ji at the centre conference hall.
Before the telecast of inauguration of the scheme, Dr. I. Shakuntala, Joint Director, ICAR Research Complex for N.E.H. Region Mizoram Centre delivered the welcome address and briefed about the PM-KISAN scheme and its importance in uplifting the conditions of farmers of the nation. Both “Mann Ki Baat” and inaugural address of Honourable Prime Minster of India were telecast live.
Shri. P.K. Sutradhar, Lead Bank Manager, SBI, Kolasib, Pu J. D. Traite, DDM, NABARD, Kolasib and three village councils were present on the occasion. More than 100 participants including farmers and staff of the institute attended the programme.
